Hands-On: The Vibrant NOMOS Club Sport neomatik Worldtimer Collection

Nomos introduced their innovative worldtimer concept in the Zürich collection back in 2011, and it’s been a staple of the collection ever since, not to mention a perennial enthusiast favorite. Nearly 15 years later, the brand is bringing a new worldtimer concept to the Club collection in a slew of vibrant limited edition colors, and a pair of regular production colors. This is the new Club Sport neomatik Worldtimer, and it’s among the best releases seen at Watches & Wonders 2025. It brings the same quick change ability found in the Zürich with the press of button, but this time, there’s a single rotating city disc, and a subsidiary dial with a 24 hour hand. And this time, they’ve come straight out of the gates with more colors than you can shake a stick at.

In total, there are eight new references that comprise this collection, six of which are special editions that will be limited to 175 pieces each. The other two will serve as the base of a regular production addition for the time being. The groups are easily differentiated by their dials. The special editions get very Nomos colorways with flat texture dials, while the regular production examples tone down the big colors, and use a sunray finish.

Each uses a 40mm steel case that measures an impressive 9.9mm in total thickness thanks to the new movement, the DUW-3202. The case itself is polished on all surfaces, as we’re used to seeing from Nomos. As lovely as the finish is, I’ll always land on the side of wanting a more subdued finish, especially when it involves such beautiful and well thought out colors. These watches do use a three link bracelet with a brushed outer link, and the whole situation is exactly as great on the wrist as you might imagine.

The DUW-3202 uses a presser at two o’clock on the case to cycle through timezones, which takes the hour hand with it for fast changes to local timezones when traveling, while keeping the 24 hour hand set to home time, which is managed via a pusher at eight o’clock on the case. Once set to your home time, you can cycle through the timezones of the world with ease without needing to use the crown at all. The press is firm and confident, it feels like something you could play with all day while holding up to the abuse.

That 24 hour sub dial hosts the accent colors for each of the references, while the ring containing the timezones at the perimeter is complementary. The individual colors are interesting and subtle in their own way, and the pairings dial things up a notch, some appearing as though straight out of a Wes Anderson film. Each has a fun name and unique personality, and this is exactly the kind of thing that Nomos excels at.

This is a seriously impressive watch that’s not afraid to have some fun. I love the matte dials with brilliant color palettes and left to my own devices, I’d opt for Canyon. Pricing is set at $4,720 and availability begins this month, so keep an eye on Nomos if you want to get your hands on one. Nomos
